Results of the analysis, systematization and summary of diagnostics results data of the northern oil/gas-condensate fields gas production facilities equipment. Temporary distribution of types and amount of the equipment being diagnosed, defects identified, operation extension conditions are presented. The analysis of influence of unexpected unscheduled repairs and equipment replacement occurring during operation on reduction of operation reliability and efficiency was performed in accordance with the actual technical condition. Timeliness of development of the methods to forecast repairs and equipment replacement to ensure reliability and efficiency of its operation continuing was shown.

» Cracking of metal housings of Christmas-tree gate valves of northern fields gas producersOpen PDF
Results of non-destructive tests with disassembly and destructive tests of metal elements of UPETROM Christmas trees of Komsomolskoye, Urengoyskoye and Yen-Yakhinskoye gas fields wells after 20 years of their operation were set forth. According to the diagnostics results, low initial plastic properties of metal were identified. When performing works, numerous cracks of metal valve housings were identified, which were promptly removed from service. Studies results show that when diagnosing Christmas trees of northern fields wells, in addition to the standard methods of non-destructive tests applied, it is required to perform non-destructive tests with disassembly, destructive tests, structure study and identification of metal mechanical properties (including plasticity and cold resistance characteristics) of Christmas trees elements selected based on their technical condition assessment according to the results of non-destructive tests, as well as perform finetuning technologies of non-destructive tests on them for their application in the field.

The authors propose within Gazprom JSC to correct the surface diagnostics system and develop approaches to mutual coordination of diagnostic and research works.

Field data based empirical calculation of friction coefficient between drilling and casing string walls is made by special computer program. Economy of down hole equipment durability due to application special lubricity agent is shown.

Road asphalt manufacturing technology of ultraviscous oil of Tatneft JSC fields is reviewed. The possibility to obtain ultraviscous oil of Ashalchinskoye and Mordovo-Karmalskoye fields of road asphalt that comply with the requirements of GOST 22245-90 is demonstrated.

In Tatarstan, significant heavy oil reserves have been discovered (about 7 billion tons) contained in more than 400 pools with the reservoir depths ranging from 50 to 250 m. Horizontal drilling has proved to be the optimal choice for heavy oil reserves development even though there are certain technological challenges. Reservoir performance analysis shows advantages of thermal recovery methods compared to other currently available development techniques. It is very important that well designs and technical solutions should provide for decrease of heat losses and increase of oil recovery factor.

The general worldwide trend is significant intensification of oil production volumes due to application of technologies such as hydraulic fracturing, acid treatment and wells operation on forced operation conditions with low bottom hole pressure. The volume of extracted sand increases proportionally to the increase in the oil volume produced by using the oil intensification methods. Despite significant progress in the area of technologies development to prevent sand recovery and creation of new types of the equipment with high abrasion resistance, simple devices set for pump suction are still being used. Inertial type separators have been used in the oil industry for a long time, but there are still many questions about appropriateness and efficiency of their use to protect underground equipment in order to enhance its operational life and reduce operating costs for liquid production. The article describes and analyzes the research conducted to determine testbed efficiency of sand separation plants, as well as provides information about successful and unsuccessful use of this auxiliary equipment. It describes in detail the most efficient areas of sand separation plants use to protect underground equipment, specifies areas for further improvement of this technology.

» Geomechanics of interstratal overflows in borehole environment: causes and methods of controlOpen PDF
It was shown there are geomechanical causes of interstratal gas overflows when operating the wells even for perfect cementing. Geological factor was defined for «geomechanical» interstratal overflows. A new method of control of interstratal overflows was proposed.
